It’s MOST Important!

March 29th, 2009

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the most important event in human history! We have an opportunity this month to join in our annual celebration of this event which gives us new life now and eternal life forever. As your pastor, I encourage you to take advantage of every opportunity to celebrate Easter and the events that led to it by setting aside time to worship frequently during Holy Week and for Easter.

Fellowship Opportunity

March 3rd, 2009

Join us on Friday,  March 20th, for fellowship, and entertainment provided by Jill Pearson.
For details, click here.

Who is Jill Pearson?
There is a verse in the Bible that makes Jill’s heart pound…
“What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.” Matthew 10:27
This is why she writes. This is why she sings. It’s why she shares her music with whoever will listen.
Jill has been writing songs since she was a tween growing up in the Midwest. Back then they were mostly about love and broken hearts. Now she writes about her faith, her sweet, silly family, observations on chocolate and coffee and other human attachments, and, still, the heartbreaks.  Hope in the midst of the heartbreaks.
Jill is a local talent who lives in Oronoco, MN.  She graduated from Winona State with a teaching degree and is currently a homeschooling mom of three great kids, the wife of Mr. Incredible, a blessed daughter, a friend of many amazing women, and a student of the Bible.
Jill Pearson will be performing at Trinity Lutheran for the March 20th Coffee House adult fellowship event.   You can find out more about Jill and sample her music at: www.jillpearsonmusic.com

Jill is the kind of person you feel like you’ve known your whole life. Her beautiful songwriting shares the stories of her life through wisdom and wit.
…  A true woman of faith, grace, and humility, her big smile and songs with thoughtful lyrics gave us hope for the tough times and a clearer perspective of ourselves and how great and loving our God is.
