About Trinity

Trinity is a ministry of God in Christ Jesus to the entire Rochester community, and to the downtown community in particular.  We worship using a variety of worship styles and times, and offer Christian Education opportunities for all ages.  We are committed to Holy Scripture as the revealed Word of God, and seek to apply it from a Lutheran perspective to all whom we serve.

Mission

To make disciples of Christ and share His love.

History

Trinity Lutheran Church was started in 1867 by five businessmen from Wisconsin who settled in Rochester. The church is a member of Minnesota South District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). Trinity is the mother (LCMS) church in Rochester, which helped establish four other LCMS churches in this area. Trinity is also the founding member of an association of churches who have jointly contributed to the administration and operation of Rochester Central Lutheran School for over 100 years.
