Mark 2:21: No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he
does, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse.
Mission
The Quilters of Trinity Lutheran Church make quilts to send to mission-focused
organizations locally and through out the world.  Examples of groups who have
received quilts include the Orphan Grain Train, Lutheran Womens Missionary
League, local refugee support services, and Rochester Central Lutheran
    School.
Adult Service Opportunities - Quilters
There are many opportunities for adult members of Trinity to assist with the
mission of the Quilters.  These include cutting out squares of fabric (12.5") for
quilt tops, sewing quilt tops together at home, helping out at quilting sessions
and looking for old blankets and mattress pads for quilt filler.

    Leadership Opportunities:
The group leader of the Quilters primarily purchases needed materials and
asks the congregation for specific donations by placing notices in the weekly
    church bulletin.
Youth Service Opportunities - Quilters
Trinity youth may assist with the mission of the Quilters by cutting out squares of
fabric (12.5") for quilt tops and sewing quilt tops at home.
