Mission
The mission of the Board of Evangelism and Missions is to encourage a personal
witness to the Christian Faith by the members of the congregation by:

  • Developing Christian Outreach programs for the congregation and community.
  • Encouraging prospective members to join the congregation.
  • Using various means of communication in the spreading of the Gospel.
  • Educating and encouraging church members to personally witness to Christ.
  • Providing means for warmly welcoming guests.
  • Developing and conducting programs to educate and involve the congregation.
    in the mission work accomplished by the Church, the District, and the Synod.
Adult Service Opportunities - Evangelism and Missions
Board Members:
  • Coordinate welcome letters and phone calls to visitors.
  • Maintain children’s activity bags.
  • Oversee new member matters (pictures, bulletin board, orientation).
  • ESL (English as a second language) in collaboration with Board of Education.
  • Mission fair.
  • Trinity Web site development.
  • Working with Sudanese community needs.
  • Sudanese transportation needs.
Any adult member of Trinity:
  • Assist with ESL tutoring.
  • Extend a personal welcome to visitors new members.
  • Provide transportation to church, to Sudanese members.
Youth Service Opportunities - Evangelism and Missions
  • Help stock children’s activity bags.
  • Assist with ESL tutoring.
Giving Opportunities - Evangelism and Missions
Gifts to Evangelism and Missions would be used to:
  • Provide Gabriel Deng the education/resources needed to continue the Sudanese
    outreach.
  • Send a Board Member to a synod or district outreach conferences.
  • Further develop the ESL program.
