| Mission |
print material which strengthens the educational work of the church, increases knowledge of our own faith and others, enriches our worship life, provides information on social and economic issues, fosters an appreciation of good books and deepens our relationship with Jesus Christ. Adult and youth of Trinity are encouraged to visit the library and check out materials for home loan. (Directions for checking out library materials are posted prominently on the wall.) The Trinity Lutheran Church Library Committee is a member of the National Church Library Association. |
| Adult Service Opportunities - Library |
The leader of the Library Committee collects information from the National Church Library Association which is relevant to the group. The leader is also responsible for organizing the monthly working meetings. Members of the Library Committee monitor the usage of books, videos and cassettes in the church library as well as reviewing them for appropriateness. Members also provide written reviews of library topic areas for the congregation which are published every other month in the church newsletter. The church narthex book rack is maintained by Library Committee members. Books are rotated in the book rack seasonally. |
